Bengaluru: Tech Mahindra in partnership with Alstom Transport today launched Global Development Center. The two companies also inked three year partnership agreement to meet the growing need for mature regional partners’ capable of providing efficient vertical integration capabilities from engineering to manufacturing on rolling stock interior field.
According to Karthikeyan Natarajan, Global Head, Integrated Engineering Solutions, Tech Mahindra, the company is delighted to collaborate with Alstom to offer end-to-end engineering services from design to manufacturing.
“The partnership is a result of months of progressive demonstration from Tech Mahindra on the ability and motivation to engage in high value added engineering activities,” he adds.
The global development center will enable Tech Mahindra to speed up joint development of integrated engineering solutions that will bring value to the customers. The company will provide Alstom with innovative end-to-end integrated engineering solutions on interiors commodity.
The development center will focus on engineering activities from concept to prototype build.
“This partnership shall further increase our flexibility and competitiveness on this key area. This is also a further step of our engineering ramp-up in India,” states Pierre Gosset, Engineering Vice President, Rolling Stock and Components, Alstom Transport.
