Guwahati: Shristi, one of the leading construction and infrastructure companies in India, has announced launch of Shristinagar Township in an upcoming metropolis Guwahati. The project aims at revolutionizing and creating Guwahati’s identity as one of the premier business, residential, entertainment and lifestyle hub in northeast.
The first private sector integrated township in North East India will be spread across an area of 250 acres at Kharguli Hills Extension. The township, to be developed in phases entails an investment of Rs3,000 crore. The project has been launched with the villa project being the first development. Designed by internationally acclaimed architects, Stantec USA, the villas are for those who appreciate the finer things in life.
“These villas are functional in terms of aesthetics, in sync with the local sensibilities and are also integrated into the natural landscape of the site. To top it all they have been priced very attractively,” states Sunil Jha, Managing Director, Shristi.
The township nestled in the hills envisions offering its residents the uniqueness of water front views, an uplifting hilly breeze, landscaped greens and unparalleled access to sunshine. The project envisions residential villas, multi-storied apartments, educational institutions, hospital, retail and commercial zones and a club house having a total built up of more than 12 million sq ft when fully constructed and will house over 6,000 families.
Further, the integrated township will house state-of-the-art healthcare and educational facilities in addition to multiplexes, designer boutiques and supermarkets. It will also feature a deluxe resort, a luxury hotel and fine dining with a wide range of cuisines to choose from.
Infrastructure work has already commenced at the site after the decks for the project were cleared as the Ministry of Environment and Forests granted clearance in August 2009 and GMDA approved the township in 2010.
