The Telangana government has signed power purchase agreement (PPA) with Chattisgarh for purchasing 1000 MW of power.
“The PPA would be in force for the next 12 years. The transmission lines for bringing power from Chhattisgarh to Telangana are currently under construction between Wardha (Maharashtra) and Dichpally (Telangana),” the press release said.
Telangana Minister for Power Jagadish Reddy and other officials were present during the signing ceremony.
