Real Estate firm Tata Housing has announced an online exhibition to sell bout 200 housing units spread over 11 projects in seven cities. In the last one and half year, Tata Housing has sold about 1,500 units online. Home buyers participating in the three-days exhibition, to be held between July 13-15, would get a special offer of getting an extra room with their home at no extra cost.
The company in a statement said, “Tata Value Homes, a 100 percent subsidiary of Tata Housing, today announced India’s first online exhibition for an exclusive audience through a valid invite code.”
The company’s 200 housing units are up for sale through this exhibition ranging from Rs 13-50 lakh. These 11 projects are located in Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune.
Tata Housing MD and CEO Brotin Banerjee said, “Our online platform has received an overwhelming response from our consumers with over 1500 booking till date. Though it was started as an experiment, it has now emerged as the fastest growing channel of sales for the real-estate industry.”
Tata Housing is a subsidiary of Tata Sons Ltd in which the group holds 99.86 percent stake. The realty firm started selling flats through online in December 2013 through its partnership with Google. Later, it also tied up with Housing.Com and Snapdeal for online sales.
