L&T’s Building and Factories Business has secured a major order which is worth Rs 825 crores from a premium developer in Bengaluru. The project encompasses design and construction of a residential building complex. The scope involves civil & structural works for 16 towers. Out of these 16 towers, 10 towers are to be of 24 floors each, while 6 towers of 14 floors each.
While, L&T’s Power transmission & Distribution Business has secured new orders worth Rs 430 crores. They have received this order in the domestic market. This order has been received from the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) for the construction of a 765 kV double circuit transmission line in Uttar Pradesh. The inter-regional system has started a scheme for the strengthening of Western and Northern Regions and this project is associated with that.
On the international front, the business has secured an order from a private developer for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a 132/11 kV substation in Dubai.
