A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and Noida Authority for construction of metro corridor. The 3.96 km elevated metro corridor will be constructed between Kalindi Kunj and Botanical Garden. The corridor, part of Phase-III of Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden corridor, will have two stations – Okhla Bird Sanctuary and Botanical Garden. Further, the DMRC network’s fourth bridge over the Yamuna is coming up on this section along the Okhla bridge, after crossing Kalindi Kunj. The approximate length of this bridge is 574 mtr and it is coming up about 85 mtr downstream of the existing Okhla bridge over the Yamuna. This bridge will be located between the Kalindi Kunj and Okhla Bird Sanctuary stations.
